Eligibility

Students are eligible to apply for GAC course as long as they satisfy the following requirements.

GAC special entrance exam for recommended applicants
  • Students who expect to graduate from Technical college (KOSEN) in 2016.
  • Applicants who get recommendation from principal of KOSEN.
  • Have an overall grade point average of 4.3 or higher. Ranked in the top five position in terms of grades in their 4th year in each of their classes.
  • TOEIC score of 400 or higher or the equivalent.
GAC entrance exam for recommended applicants
  • Students who expect to graduate from KOSEN in 2016.
  • Applicants who get recommendation from principal of KOSEN.
  • TOEIC score of 550 or higher or the equivalent. (A preferential system is applied in accordance with their academic performance) .
GAC general entrance exam
  • Students who graduated or expect to graduate from KOSEN in 2016.
  • Japanese or international students, applicants who have completed 2 years curriculum at university in Japan or abroad.

Enrollment: Friday, May 6, 2016 to Wednesday, May 11, 2016

Interview:During the period May26-27, 2016

Screening Result:At 10a.m. Friday, June 10, 2016

GAC general entrance exam

Enrollment:Friday, May 6, 2016 to Wednesday, May 11, 2016

First Screening - Document Review -

Applicants will initially be assessed on submitted documents and their essays.

Invitation for an Interview: At 10a.m. Friday, May 27, 2016

Final Screening - Interview - Monday, June 20, 2016

Screening Result ( Final round ): At 10a.m. Friday, July 8, 2016

Selection

  • GAC special entrance exam for recommended applicants:The result will be comprehensively determined by the application documents (Recommendation letter, Personal statement, Transcripts, Score certificate of English language proficiency test) and interview.
  • GAC entrance exam for recommended applicants:The result will be comprehensively determined by the application documents (Recommendation letter, Personal statement, Transcripts, Score certificate of English language proficiency test) and interview.
  • GAC general entrance exam:The result will be comprehensively determined by first round of screening using submitted documents (Personal statement, Essay, Transcripts, Score Certificate of English language proficiency test) and a final round of screening based on interview.

Tuition fees

Academic fee for undergraduate is 535,800 Japanese yen/year(267,900 yen for one semester).
