  • Internet Registration Period:
    -October 17-25, 2022
  • Application Submission Period:
    -October 20-26, 2022 (Application materials must reach us by 5:00 p.m. on October 26)
  • Date of Examination:
    -November 22, 2022 (Math and Interview)
  • Announcement of Successful Applicants:
    -December 12, 2022 (11:00 a.m.)

Application Eligibility

Applicants must have graduated or be expected to graduate from high school in Japan in March 2023, or those with equivalent qualifications.

Application Requirements

(1) Applicants who have taken the English proficiency test designated by the university on or after November, 2020, and must meet any of the following minimum conditions.

TOEIC L&R(SP) Score 550
TOEFL iBT 42 points
IELTS* Overall Band Score 4.0
Practical English Proficiency Test (Eiken) Level 2
GTEC 960
    • *IELTS (General Training Module) is not applicable.

(2)Applicants must be able to make a promise of admission if they pass the test.

(1) A survey submitted by the principal of the home school

(3) Interview (in both English and Japanese)

(4) Paper Test: Mathematics

(5) Essay (English or Japanese)

Intake Period: April 1, 2023

        • Internet Registration Period:
          -December 6-20, 2022
        • Application Submission Period:
          -December 15-21, 2022 (Application materials must reach us by 5:00 p.m. on December 21)
        • Date of Examination:
          -January 23, 2023 (Interview)
        • Announcement of successful applicants:
          -February 3, 2023 (11:00 a.m.)

Change in the selection methods for the First-year of 2023 Selection for International Students(Global Technology Architects Course)(cancellation of the interview)

Application Eligibility

(1) Those who do not possess Japanese nationality (those who have permanent residence are not eligible.)

(2) Those who have completed or are expected to complete 12 years of schooling in a foreign country, or who have an equivalent level of education.

Application Requirements

(1) Took three subject tests, mathematics (course 2) and science (two of the following: physics, chemistry, and biology), and received a total score of 240 or more on these tests Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students given by the Japan Services Association in 2022

※Applicants can submit a copy of the exam voucher for the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students instead of the score report. It will be referred by the university.


(2) Took one of the following English proficiency tests in January 2021 or later and earned the following score for the respective test.

TOEIC L&R(SP) Score of 550 or greater
TOEFL iBT Score of 42 or greater
IELTS* Overall Band Score Score of 4.0 or greater
      • *IELTS (General Training Module) is not applicable.
      • The official scores of the English Language Test must arrive before the application period or you will not be allowed to take the examination. If you plan to apply, please contact the English Language Testing Agency as soon as possible to request them to send your score to university. Scores will be accepted even if they arrive at the university before the application period.
