First-year Student Application Guideline
for April 2020 Enrollment

The entrance examination classification and schedule for the 2021 admissions will change. For details, please check the application guidelines to be announced.

The privately-financed international student selection (GAC) entrance examination will be held in January 2021. Please refer to the application guidelines to be announced in early October for details.

Screening Schedule

Intake Period: April 1, 2020

Round 1

  • Internet registration period:
    -October 15-29, 2019
  • Application submission period:
    -October 24-30, 2019 (Application materials must reach us by 5:00 p.m. on October 30)
  • Interview date:
    -November 26, 2019
  • Announcement of successful applicants:
    -December 9, 2019 (11:00 a.m.)

Round 2

  • Internet registration period:
    -December 10-24, 2019
  • Application submission period:
    -December 19-25, 2019 (Application materials must reach us by 5:00 p.m. on December 25)
  • Interview date:
    -January 27, 2020
  • Announcement of successful applicants:
    -January 30, 2020 (3:00 p.m.)(EJU screening method)
    -February 12, 2020 (3:00 p.m.)(National Center Test screening method)

Application Eligibility

Applicants who have completed a 12-year standard education curriculum or expect to complete in March 2020 or the equivalent

Application Requirements

1) Applicants must take any one of the following academic proficiency tests.

A. Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students(EJU):

Required subjects: Math (Course 2), Science (2 subjects from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology). No Japanese language subject is required. Examination language can be chosen either English or Japanese by applicant's preference.

B. Japan National Center Test for University Admission:

Required subject: Mathematics I・A, Mathematics II・B, Science(2) (2 subjects from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology)

2) Applicants must take English proficiency tests such as TOEIC.

3) The test results must meet the requirement.

<Round 1> One of each score of 1) and 2) must meet any of the following minimum conditions.
<Round 2> Minimum conditions are not required. *passing level is about same as <Round 1>.

Screening Methods

All applicants are evaluated based on the following information provided and interview.
*Same evaluation criteria apply both <Round 1> and <Round 2>.

※Interview via the Internet is available for international applicants.

Academic fee for undergraduate is 535,800 Japanese yen/year(267,900 yen for one semester) for 2019 enrollment.
